Othello was slumped against the bars of her cage, eyes closed. She hummed a song from long ago, a song that her father's father's father's father had sung- Solla Sollew. A tear ran down her face, rememberig the times when she had been free. "There's a faraway land, so the stories all tell, Somewhere beyond the horizon, If we can find it then all will be well, Troubles there are few, someday we'll go to..."

She was cut off by another young lady, Maria, shouting out, out of tune "Smooooth criminal!", then giggling "Damn, cheer up, girl."

Othello's eyes snapped open. Her vision was only slightly blurred by her tears, and she glared at the girl. She sounded like an alcoholic. Jeez. "I think I'm perfectly able to sing what I want to." (but that song it soooo perfect for this.) She ignored the girl, and continued singing. "They say breezes are warm there and people are kind, Maybe it's something like heaven, I close my eyes and I see in my mind, Skies of bluest blue and I'm sure it's true... Solla Sollew, Solla Sollew..."

"Excellent for you then, but this is the song that my family used to sing. And, it helps me remember that I'm trapped like an animal in this damn circus. You think I wanna be a fricking acrobat? It's not like we have any choices here to make ourselves, so I can sing whatever I want. It also helps me remember my sister."

Starting to loosen up, she sat up. "Can Ms. Great Music Taste at least tell me what her name is?"
